A post for various threads in the daybreakacademy AU continuity, because sometimes you miss out on particular events with certain characters and you want to fix that.

(Or because I specifically have a problem and that problem is I enjoy this AU entirely too much.)

Characters That I Actually Played in This AU Some Capacity
✮ Lia Brooks! (buddinghopes) A Candle and magical girl with a love of baking and video games and an utter inability to mind her own business. No brakes on the friendship bullet train, etc. Attended Daybreak for two years and intends to stick around for the foreseeable future.
✮ V! (ofexperience) A man who made many mistakes in his lifetime. Created from the half-daemon Vergil, V took in a young girl that was also lost in the Outlands, made a pact with a faerie, lost the girl, and then found his way to Daybreak, where he was reunited with the girl and became a TA. Weird shit eventually happened and he's part-faerie now? (That happened off-screen.) He's confused too, admittedly. Comes with familiars.
✮ Trey Clover! (doodlesuits) A Candle born of two Daybreak alumni, who settled down in Soleil and opened a bakery. He's been attending Daybreak as long as he's been attending school. Definitely not in Lum which is for the best, there's already Enough baking fiends in that dorm. (Honestly, his family lives in Soleil he may just stay in His Actual Goddamn House.)
✮ Epel Felmier! (felmier) An American mage who only recently started attending Daybreak, comparatively (magical potential skipped a generation in his family). Holy shit help him this place is fancier than any other he's seen in his entire life.
✮ Byleth Eisner! (rupturingheaven) A former mercenary and Seer from a region of the Outlands known as Fódlan who's done a couple of jobs for Daybreak in the past. She went radio-silent for a while as she traded mercenary work for teaching at a monastery in Fódlan. She returned to Daybreak to assist with the fight against Suneater.
✮ Serena! (entrainement) A Tamer who, despite originally coming from Soleil, only attended Daybreak for a few years before. Upon sufficiently developing her abilities, she left the school to join up with the Kalos League, a Tamer coven that has worked with Daybreak for decades. She's been having her adventures in collecting various familiars offscreen, you see. Serena's one of the youngest Tamers within the Kalos League to attain 'Champion' status by going through a series of trials that may or may not involve fighting against other folks in the League. Has definitely befriended Xerneas.
Characters I Have AUs For But Never Played For Some Reason
✮ Jack Howl! (unleashbeast) Listen. He's just deadass a werewolf in this AU. Naturally born so, admittedly, so he can transform as he pleases. Not sure how long he's been attending Daybreak, but it's likely been for a While.
✮ Jade Leech! (heartshocking) It is a lovely day in Soleil and you are a horrible eel. ... In other words, he's really not much different than canon--he's an eel merman from the Outlands who came to Daybreak literally just to follow Azul.
✮ Yuu Serizawa! (areyuuserious) A former Seer who ended up in Daybreak because of Shenanigans that may or may not have involved Crowley and Grim, the latter of which they're now stuck with. Happily signed their Seer abilities over in a contract.
✮ Haru Okumura! (betrayaladorned) The only child of a mage family in Japan, sent to the school for image reasons despite her father being in a group actively plotting against Daybreak. Things, uh, happen. Things happen a lot. She has a Flame that grants her a familiar and a cool outfit.
✮ Marinette Dupain-Cheng! (coccinellechanceuse) ... Yes, another kid who's offspring of Daybreak alumni who opened a bakery in Soleil. Hush. Marinette's interests actually lie in fashion and design, and how to work magic into these things. Has a magic pair of earrings that she uses to transform to fight, and a whole box of other assorted magical jewelry created by a Seer to fight against Nightfall. Afterwards, the jewelry's just being used to protect people.
✮ Nanashi! (deicidii) Sometimes, Weird Shit Happens if you die in the Outlands. Sometimes that Weird Shit means you contract with a sketchy entity of origins you're not completely certain of and get told to go fight things that want to bring about the end of the world. Nanashi doesn't trust Dagda as far as he could throw him, but he doesn't have a lot of choice if he wants to stay alive.
✮ Caesar Zeppeli! (bolledivita) A hamon-wielder from the late 30's, who died with a bit of blood from a vampiric being called a Pillar Man in his mouth... only to wake up again as a vampire decades later, extremely confused. He eventually found himself at Daybreak Academy. Could have woken up before or after the thwarting of Nightfall, I'm willing to be flexible with the AU.
✮ Noriaki Kakyoin! (kokaiwanai) Sometimes you don't need to be in the Outlands for Weird Shit to happen when you die. In the middle of a fight with a vampire, Kakyoin sustained a mortal wound--he's only here today thanks to a deal made with a mysterious entity. He's... also a little confused. He's been off in the Outlands for a while now because of that deal and only just got back.

✮ Nero! (wellfunctioningarm) Listen, Nero isn't THAT difficult to transfer settings with.
✮ Eliseo de Fiore! (lacebark) Desidera's older half-brother who was not aware of her until relatively recently. Has plant powers and a flexible AU since I didn't ultimately come up with much.
✮ Akira Kurusu! (velvetinmate) I didn't have an AU for him but I can probably bullshit something on the spot.
✮ Ortho Shroud! (archetypegear) What exactly Ortho's deal is probably depends on what a hypothetical Idia's deal is, but he's here.
✮ Aderyn Lloyd! (keepacoohead) A young woman with a mostly undecided AU for the time being. The most important detail for threads at the moment is that she works in the infirmary, putting her ability to soothe others' emotions to good use.
✮ Harper Cross! (labassisting) A transfer from a school specifically for mages. Likes it way better here.
I Don't Have A Separate Journal For This Character But...
✮ 2B! A super-soldier from a young age, but has long since broken away from YoRHa. Getting herself and 9S out of there would have cost her her life, but a conveniently passing vampire realized she wasn't quite dead and turned her in order to save her.
